‘TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS…

(Yes, it's a bit late, but I'm finally updating this. Here's our Christmas 2007 letter.)

It’s almost Christmas, just 10 days to go,
And around us the pile of boxes does grow.
Somewhere inside there are goodies to unwrap
But all we can think is, “When is our nap?!”

See, we’re moving today, not very far,
But it all has to be packed up into the car
And towed 3.2 miles to our first home to be
At 3383 E. Weldon, Fresno, CA 93703.

See the Browning’s took off on a two year long mission
With no radio, phone calls or television…
At least that’s what they were told they would have
When they went to Canada, poor Mom and Dad.

Well they got there and things started to change:
They had a TV and we got engaged!
Last year at this time we were happy as can be
With just us two, married for two months, and not paying for electricity.

But the no rent and paid bills couldn’t last forever,
The Browning’s are on their way back to the nice toasty weather.
So we’re all packed up, clothes, kitchen and bed
And heading across town to a new home instead.

With Mom and Dad Iverson as the new landlord’s,
The remodel of the house can’t have anyone bored!
From painting to carpeting to putting in shelves,
We’re starting to think our new house has elves!

We’ve left the Millbrook ward and our callings galore,
We will be moving to Gettysburg, they’ll give us some more.
Phillip stays busy with Children’s Hospital and Early Morning Seminary,
While Julianna’s days are spent at Walter Law Group, (don’t sue me!)

We’d better get packing now, send us a line
Our new number is 559-441-1349.
We hope Santa can find us, amid all the confusion
Merry Christmas to all! Now where’s the television?
