6 Quirks About Me

I know, I know. Melissa Bird tagged me forever ago and I still haven't responded. It's mainly because (make sure you're sitting down for this) we don't have 'net at home, not even dial up. We also don't have cable. It may seem like we're living in the dark ages, but it's kind of nice. I get sucked into this thing way too easily. That being said, we're probably going to be getting both of those items shortly.
Anyway, I've got a spare moment (I'm on break) here are my responses to: THE 6 QUIRKS ABOUT ME ~

1 ~ I hate shoes, but love socks. I would rather go barefoot 24-7-365 than ever wear shoes. I normally wear something slip-on/flip-flop-ish so as soon as possible my shoes can be off.

2 ~ I hate the "gossip" part of church/activities. Example: awhile ago I went to an activity where we were supposed to be working on a project. I got there at 640 (my normaly 10 minutes late) and there were a bunch of people just sitting around talking. During the 2 hours I was there nothing was mentioned about the project, no prayers (opening or closing) were said and the whole night felt like a flop to me. I'm fine with friendshipping and talking, but if I'm taking 2 hours of my night away from my husband, we should at least be talking about the project we're there for.

3 ~ I am deathly afraid of bridges. Doesn't matter if it's an overpass, bridge, roap bridge - whatever, I hate being over or under them. I think it has something to do with the bay bridge back in 89. I also can't go beyond the 3rd step on ladders without going wobbly. If God had intended for me to be in the air, he would have made me taller or given me wings.

4 ~ I hate making decissions. Just ask Phillip, I'm always having him make them.

5 ~ No fake people. If you've got a problem with me, tell me to my face, don't go around it.

6 ~ I could live without 1-way streets. I've never had a huge problem with them...until this week. On Wednesday I was driving, trying to find the temp job of the week and suddenly I was on a one way street, going the wrong way. Thankfully it was empty and I just turned around, but reallly Fresno, you need to post those signs better!

Okay, I had to do it, so you do it now! :)

YEAH!!! You are cute!! It was nice seeing you for 2.5 seconds at church!! We miss the friends we made in Fresno, and I hope to keep up with them better on here! ~ And I am TOTALLY with you! ONE WAY streets are RETARDED! They just spell disaster whenever I am around!

Just so you know, there was an opening prayer at the activity, we just did it right on time so you might have missed it. I do agree with you on that one. We were suppose to be discussing activities we could do and I tried to start that conversation many times but they were too interested in just talking. That was to be part of the activity, visiting, but we had work we needed to get done an no one, besides maybe you, were willing to help me out on it. Anyway, I don't like shoes either. Besides not liking shoes, I dislike buying them even more.

I always make Chris make the decisions too.
