So every year for the past 10 years CHCC (Phil's work place) in conjunction with one of the radio stations holds a RadioThon. People sign up to be "Change Bandits" and steal (or take what has been volunteered) people's change/cash/checks. People can also call in and donate that way. At the end all of the money goes to Children's Hospital and there is a concert put on for the Bandits.
Phillip's been volunteering for the event for 9 years now. Every year he drives around the "band" while they are in town. Normally this consists of taking to-from the airport, hotel and concert location (and any other "place" the band needs/wants). This year the concert was put on by Mark Chestnut. If you are not a country buff, like I am, he's the guy who sings "Going through the big D, and don't mean Dallas."
For 3 years now I have been the In-N-Out driver. Translation: I go get In-N-Out for Phillip and whoever else he deems "cool". Today he and I and Suzanna are the "cool" ones. We're counting the cash/checks that are coming in. As you can tell, it's a bit slow today. Come donate money! It's for a great cause!
Oh, and we got cool new shirts. This year they're blue. Phillip likes this because it's one less day of laundry we have to do. ...which reminds me (and him) we need to do some of that tonight. Yawn for being adults!
Tonight is the RS broadcast. I'm going to Fresno Stake with my mom. Yay for revelation and the restored gospel and fun times and food!

So that's where you were at. I heard they had theirs at 12:30 this afternoon.
I listen to Kiss who does the radiothon, and I really wish we could donate, but we are super poor, and need to make sure we have the necessities of food and such ourselves. Sorry. I hope you enjoyed ditching me for the Fresno Stake. :) LOL, just kidding. I enjoyed it, and left a honey-do list for Dean, and came home to a clean house!!!! Yeah for hubbys!!
I wish we could have been there for that....Kevin's a campaholic so we had to camp first! Maybe next year. Glad you guys enjoyed yourselves.
