We had a great weekend. Or I did. Phillip may beg to differ.
Friday I left work early with a rather yucky cold. I went home and took lots of medicine, drank lots of water and had chicken noodle soup. The soup was very yummy and after a few hours of sleep I was feeling a lot better. Phillip came home and took care of me for the rest of the evening (he's so good to me).
Saturday morning I had just gotten up to start doing some stuff around the house and we got a call from the landlord/Phil's dad, Fred. He came over and fixed the tracks in our closets so we finally have doors on our closets!!! While he was there we did lots of laundry, cleaned the front room and installed a doorbell! ("You can ring my bell" is now in my head)

After Fred left we finished cleaning our room, moved the Ottoman to the guest room, took the Christmas boxes out of the garage and went to Wal-Mart for some Christmas decorations to add to our collection. Then we went home, finished up some cleaning, including hand mopping 1/2 of the bathroom floor (we still need a mop), and enjoyed our peaceful home.
It was so nice to have such a sweet spirit in our home. (I think the Lysol smell helped...or was it bleach?) It wasn't that our house was a mess, we were mainly doing some deep cleaning in preparation for our Thanksgiving guests. (another story for another time)
Saturday night we went to dinner with the Iversons at Tahoe Joe's (hi Mike!) for early Thanksgiving c/o Grandma Syl. "The Iversons" included: Grandma, Bud, Fred, Bev, Uncle Wayne, Julie and Steve and the two of us. It was fun times all around. And then Phillip went to get a massage.
Sunday was church, however Phillip was in too much pain (c/o his massage) so he stayed home. He did recover enough to entertain me and the Cutts who came over for yummy lasagna and homemade bread. After talking for awhile we headed over to their place for the 2 hour 24 movie! Yay for Kiefer Sutherland! Yay for tic-tic-tic-tic!!! It was sad to not have the Greens or Watsons to share our 24 time with, but such is life. January 11th and 12th is the two day season premier!!!
