Reading up a storm

PS to my birthday epilogue: Our friends Rick and Heather Watson welcomed their baby girl, Livia Noel, to the world on my birthday. What a great day to have a baby! From the pictures she looks adorable and I'm wanting to go down to Bakersfield to meet her in person.
In other news:
Someone yesterday told me they always see me reading. My mom worked in a bookstore when I was little and I guess that got me interested in reading. Right now I am reading all of the following (yes, at the same time):
JON & KATE GOSSELIN - Multiple Blessings. One of our favorite things to do for Family Home Evening is to watch Jon & Kate Plus 8 and develop our pre-parenting skills. They just came out with a book and Phillip bought it for me for my birthday. My sister was disappointed he got it for me as she also bought me a copy...so maybe I get two, one for home and one for work? :)

GREGORY MAGUIRE - A Lion Among Men. This one I'm rushing through because I got it from the library and it's due on Saturday without the ability to renew it. It's the 3rd in the Wicked series. Phillip got me the second book for Christmas, however I want them all to match and be the same size. My other two are paper back (Wicked in green and Son of a Witch in red) and since Lion is new it's only hardback for now.

CS LEWIS biography. My favorite part of this book is the fact that it's told like a story vs "he was born on..., he died on..., etc.

CS LEWIS - Mere Christianity. Actually I'm not reading this. I'm supposed to be as I'm reviewing it for Millbrook Ward book club next Tuesday, but I've gotten so into the other books I'm reading that I haven't had time. I have read it before though, so I should still be prepared.
