100

It must be something in the water...

We're all turning 100! 100 posts that is.
Between the Moore's and the Birds it's just the cool thing to do.
Here's my attempt at the 100 things that make me happy/facts about me/us:

1. My name is Julianna Lin Iverson
2. I was born January 4, 1982
3. I am married to Phillip Joseph Iverson. He has made me the luckiest woman ever!
4. We were married on 21 October, 2006, the happiest day of my life thus far.
5. I have 4 nieces (Kailee, Joylin, Victoria and ) who are adorable beyond measure.
6. I have 4 nephews (Jared, Caden, Samuel and Ian) who give the best hugs.
7. I have parents who love me and gave me unmeasurable trust in all I did.
8. I have the best big brother ever whos love is felt from unmeasurable distances..
9. I also have the best big sister ever who isn’t so far away
10. I have in-laws who I actually get along with and who accept me for who I am
11. I have 2 sisters-in-law and 2 brothers-in-law who all have the ability to make me laugh.
12. We have a beautiful home to live in.
13. We have a supporting ward.
14. We have great friends.
15. We have the gospel.
16. We are lucky enough to have a temple in the city we live.

17. Though it can be trying at times, I love working with the young women.
18. I have 2 wonderful counselors who I can trust with anything.
19. We both have jobs. A huge privilege in this day and age!
20. We have both sets of parents living.
21. We have 3 special grandmothers with us.
22. We are married for time and all eternity, not just until death do us part.
23. We were both able to serve missions
24. I have played the piano since I was 5 (ish) but took a break for a couple years and lost the talent - it’s true what they say!
25. I absolutely love music. Almost any kind.
26. I have a new favorite song each week. This week it’s the cuppycake song:

27. I love the rain. People said serving in WA would kill that - it didn’t.
28. I know that God lives and that he loves me enough to make it known to me.
29. My favorite color is black because it is the absence of all color.
30. My favorite animal is the zebra.
31. I could not come up with all 50 states if my life depended on it.
32. I have been in 4 countries.
33. I have lived in 2 states.
34. In my whole life I have only lived in 3 homes. (Not counting the mission)
35. I am learning ASL.
36. I enjoy quilting and crocheting.
37. I am afraid of heights, small spaces and clowns.
38. I would love to skydive or bungee jump, but someone would have to push me.
39. I have visited 11 states.
40. My fist memory is of a snowflake with one of those buildings on the “mall” in DC in the background. (I was 2 or 3 when we went there) - Haven't been back since.
41. I went the Hawaii when I was abt 5 and have 2 memories of it.
42. I went to Mexico when I was little but don’t remember a moment of it.
43. I absolutely love Magic Mountain and could spend forever there.
44. I have been to Disneyland twice (once when I was little and then again when I was 13) and could go the rest of my life without it.
45. My favorite movie is 10 Things I Hate About You.
46. I love playing board, card, etc games.
47. I have cheated to let the other person win multiple times. Just ask Phillip!
48. In Kindergarten my teacher dubbed me “The Mother Teresa”.
49. I was in the newspaper in Kindergarten.
50. I love teaching.
51. I love kids.
52. I love reading, though it seems there is never enough time to do so.
53. My favorite scripture is 1 Peter 5:6-7:
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

54. Phillip’s favorite is in Alma 29...the one about wanting to be an angel.
55. I'm grateful that this is more than 1/2 over!
56. I was in drama for 2 years and loved it.
57. I love fruits and vegetables...well, most of them.
58. I had 3 grandpas but only vaguely remember one.
59. I went snowboarding once and loved it...even if I wasn't very good.
60. I am largely jealous of just about everyone who reads this.
61. I had surgery on my left leg when I was in elementary school to remove a mole they thought might be cancerous. So I have a scar and cannot feel part of my leg...and it turned out to not be cancer.
62. I hate shoes.
63. I love socks.
64. I had my first pedicure at the age of 22 and still freak out the first time they touch my feet. Feet are gross! (But I love pedicures)
65. I cannot do, nor have I ever done, a cartwheel.
66. In elementary school I was the jump rope queen.
67. I love hockey and was heartbroken when the Falcons went bankrupt.

68. My sniffer works really well.
69. I hate shopping...did I already put that?
70. I would rather watch movies than TV. I hate commercials and flipping channels.
71. I love the mountains and the ocean and cities.
72. I am usually late or right on time. It's a bad trait.
73. Large dogs scare me.
74. I love little dogs.
75. When I was younger I was pretending to swim in the front room. I had on swim flippers and my nightgown. My head crashed into the TV and I got 7 stitches.
76. I hate mushrooms, they're slimy.
77. I have always wanted a 2 story house with a laundry chute, a pool and a trampoline.
78. I appreciate people who understand when I don't want to attend another baby shower.
79. I have only gotten one ticket (knocking on wood) and when we went to take care of it, they said that it was never turned in!
80. I have had 5 people I call the "best friends" of my life: Phillip, Nichole, Hillary, Esche and Laura. Laura is the only one I have lost contact with.
81. For at least 10 years I have wanted to own a new and used bookstore.
82. I doubt anyone is reading this far into the list. (I wouldn't)
83. I was going to be named Pamela - thank you Grandma for saving me!
84. If I was a boy, I would've been named David.
85. I am a new fan of Robot Chicken.

86. I like Google.
87. I love my husband very much.
88. I have always wanted to own a truck, though I probably never will.
89. My senior year, instead of reading just the assigned parts of the Old Testament, my friends and I read the whole thing. It tends to be my favorite book of scripture.
90. I hate snakes and needles.
91. I took 1 1/2 yr or French and 2 years of Spanish. The second year of Spanish I finally learned what the previous 3 years had been trying to teach me.
92. During my sophomore year my friend and I boycotted desks in our history class. The teacher thought it was great and let us do it for the rest of the year.
93. I am a very lucky person.
94. Phillip Joseph Iverson is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
95. I am loved beyond measure.
96. I went to Australia when I was 14.
97. I appreciate people who understand me and validate my feelings.
98. I love my eyes - just wish they could see better
99. My hair and I have come to an understanding.
100. Sorry Leah and Melissa, I really do have the best husband ever! :)

My roommate has the cuppycake song as her ringtone but I've never seen the video! She is ADORABLE! Oh my word!

And.. I'm heartbroken that the Falcons are gone too!! Who are you going to root for now? Bakersfield? Let's drive to the next closest game! I am def going to need some hockey!

Also.. Australia at 14? COOL! Details?

I didn't know you couldn't feel a part of your leg. . . and then it wasn't cancerous! That must have been frustrating. I'm also girlishly happy that you consider me a best friend :-)

I'm not sure who to root for now, at least there's the NHL channels. I'm down for a road trip! NHL I like the Penguins, but I don't see getting to one of their games anytime before I win the lotto. :)
I went to Australia with a group called "People to People". It was started under President Eisenhour(sp) with the theory: if you have friends in other countries you won't start wars with them. It was the opportunity of a lifetime. It was me, 30 other students and 4 adults.

Yep, it's not a very large portion of my leg but feels very wierd. I'll have to show you tomorrow. (Yay for making home teaching fun! I'm glad you're on "our" list) :)
