What a great weekend!

It's always great to hear from the Prophet.
My favorite part of conference is the sustaining. I love being united with millions of saints in sustaining the Prophet every 6 months. This conference, with the passing of Elder Wirthlin we were able to have a second, special sustaining. Saturday Elder Neil Linden Andersen, was named the newest apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Nichole, Lilly and Kyle came over for Saturday's sessions. (Bryce had to work) Between the Saturday sessions we headed to the back yard and planted :

tomatoes, bell peppers (red and green),

onions

and zucchini.

Sunday my parents came over for the morning session and Music and the Spoken Word.
We also had breakfast between sessions with my yummy (dad's) biscuits and (mom's) gravy.
If you missed conference, I would suggest starting with Elder Holland's talk on not being alone. (Check here for an editorial of it) I can't wait for the talks to be available online!!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Here's Kyle playing with the slinky after we planted. Can you tell he got into the water?
