Confession time

So I follow all these blogs that are supposed to help me save money. There's:

And every day I scroll through their new posts and actually read about 1/2 of them. Of course I skip the items we would never buy and things that don't really apply right now. Don't worry, I did get the sippy cups from Juicy Juice for later...or now. ;)

"The first step is admitting you have a problem."
(no one ever tells you what the 2nd step is)

So I read all these things and never do anything with them! I'm like the couponer who cuts all the coupons out and saves them only to throw them away 2 months after they expire (yes, I do that too). If something is completely free and I can just go to some website and put in my info, I'll sign up and get it. But for me the whole printing out the coupon, going to the store I'd never go to otherwise and annoying the people behind me while I search for the stupid coupon...it's just too much.
I didn't even get my free pastry from Starbucks because I left the coupon at work. And the ones you have to buy online...well, I probably wouldn't have bought the item anyway, then I have to find my debit card...etc etc etc.

I know, I'm just lazy!

Don't get me wrong, I love getting all the free stuff. I told Phillip the other night that my favorite part is when all these things show up in the mail. "It's like Christmas!"
So today I took a step to overcome this problem. Yesterday I saw this post by Moms By Heart"$80 of makeup for $10 shipped. Yes, my heart skipped a beat. I don't wear anything besides my foundation, eyeliner and mascara most of the time, but I have drawers of the stuff (well, just on really big drawer). When I do go through my drawer for some special event, I can take hours getting it to look just right! That being said, I am cheap when it comes to buying the stuff. I've used the same tube of my "good mascara" for more than a year because I bought the cheap Wet-n-Wild kind last time and it doesn't work and I'm too cheap to go buy another good one when I've still got the Wet-N-Wild one.
So remember all this information when I tell you I finally read the whole post this morning. By this time the words "UPDATE: SHIPPING NO LONGER FREE - DEAD DEAL." had been added to the post. So now there's no way it's going to be a deal anymore and this is worth wasting my time browsing. (Yes, something like that actually ran through my head. Maybe I've got an addiction to NOT saving money, Melissa Earl come save me!!!)
So I go to the website for ELF (Eyes Lips & Face) and browse. I find some DANG CHEAP makeup (like $1 for most of the items!!!) and in the back of my head I hear a voice that says "just because the shipping's not free doesn't mean their studio stuff (mostly $3 each) isn't still 75% off!"
Long story short...er...you know what I mean; for a total of $21.45, including tax ($0) and shipping ($6.95) I'm getting all of this:

lipgloss x2 (I got one free for referring a friend)
Eyeshadow Applicators (you can never have enough!)
eyeliner & shadow stick
waterproof lengthening & volumizing mascara (bye-bye wet-n-wild)
lip liner & blending brush
concealer pencil & brush (this one just looks cool!)
Butter Cream single eyeshadow
Get The Look which contains:
-Drama Eye Shadow,
-Black Earth & Water Mascara
-Eye Liner in Black
-Smudge Brush
-Eye Lash Curler
and the Mini Makeup Collection which includes:
-9 eyeshadow shades
-1 cream eyeshadow shade
-1 blush
-1 bronzer
-10 lip gloss shades
-1 brow powder
-1 eye liner pencil
-1 dual ended eyeshadow appliacator and brush
-1 face brush
-1 lip brush

Yes, I'm stoked! And of course I want you to be too! Here's the 75% off code: WWYB75S. Remember it's only on their studio stuff.
AND A "$20 order qualifies you for a free 1 year subscription to Marie Claire, which you can opt to take in the form of a $10 rebate instead! Just be sure to click on the MORE INFO button near the magazine description and print out the rebate form." (For those mathematically challenged, that would make my order only $11.45)

You are crazy. But that is super sweet. I can be rather stupid when it comes to make-up. I love it. and I have a lot. because I work at Target and get it on clearance, so the reason I have bright blue eyeliner. Is because it was less than a dollar. Then I was in costco with my mom and she bought a make-up set for 27 dollars. It one of those mini kits that you are supposed to beable to carry with you... and yet not have to reapply. (Should of thought of that in the store) So I bought one too! And now its broken and I am back to using my collection of clearance stuff, because its what I like. Stupid costco. That is awesome! Thats a lot of make-up, sounds fun to me.
