Well, after two plus years in Young Womens, the time has come for a change. Our dear RS president, Wendy Kellogg, has health issues requiring her release and Beth Swann has been put in as the new Relief Society President. Judy Plata has been put in as first counselor and I am the new second counselor, and Kathleen Revoir is the secretary.
It's exciting and sad at the same time. I have loved serving with the YW and many wonderful women over the past two plus years. I cannot say enough to thank Delight, Nichole, Jennifer, Lauren, Anna, Allyson and Crissy (I feel I'm missing someone). I sincerly could not have handled it without you all. We have made so many wonderful memories together. Your friendship and love is limitless. Thank you is not enough, there needs to be some better word I can use.
There isn't a new YW president yet, so for the time being I am serving two callings. I am so thankful for Allyson and Crissy stepping up and taking charge on Sundays so I can be in two places at once. I'm happy that I still get to spend Wednesday nights with you and the YW! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
And my dear YW. I am so thankful for all of you. Your friendship and love means the world to me. I truly see all of you as daughters, sisters and friends. You have each changed my life. I know we will still see each other, but a part of my heart will always be across the hall in with you. Heavenly Father loves each of you. Remember that. Don't let Satan get you down or let you start thinking that you are not good enough. You are princesses, daughters of a King, THE King of all. He loves you. I have felt that so strongly. Thank you for your shining example and always being there for me. I love every one of you dearly and will always be there for you if you need to talk, cry, laugh or just have a Wii night. :)
