Seattle, Bainbridge and Rx Bandits

My favorite band, Rx Bandits, is on their farewell tour and had a stop in Seattle so I decided it was time for a trip!
I went up north early on Wednesday the 27th. I took the ferry over from Seattle to Bainbridge.

It was a beautiful day (or what I consider beautiful). Clouds, Sun and cool weather. The port probably isn't very beautiful to anyone else, but this is one of my favorite parts of Seattle.

Going into Bainbridge

After seeing some old friends and wandering around Bainbridge, it was back across the ferry to Seattle to El Corazon. The two opening bands were fun. It got hot rather fast, but I stuck to my front-row spot and it paid off.

This was supposed to be a shot of their playlist. The print didn't turn out, but they played for almost two hours. VERY wonderful show!!!

I left for home about 11:30 and got home just before 2:30 a.m. It wasn't too bad actually.

Brianna Stafford said...: I went on that ferry before! It was cold but very pretty. I wish Icould have stayed for a longer trip, rather than a go there and then drive back to Cali the same night. It was awesome.; 10:25 PM

The Reason for it all

Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children. “Children are an heritage of the Lord” (Psalms 127:3). Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to provide for their physical and spiritual needs, to teach them to love and serve one another, to observe the commandments of God and to be law-abiding citizens wherever they live. Husbands and wives—mothers and fathers—will be held accountable before God for the discharge of these obligations.

The family is ordained of God. Marriage between man and woman is essential to His eternal plan. Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity. Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities. By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners.
