Teapot Moving

Zillah has a teapot.  It's one of the little quirks that makes it wonderful.  On Tuesday, Mar. 20, 2012, the teapot moved from it's spot outside of town to just down the hill from our place.

Historic Zillah Teapot to be moved today
ZILLAH -- Workers removed an outhouse, sign and pole Monday to make way for forklifts to load the historic Teapot Dome gas station onto a flatbed truck.
The structure that is on the National Historic Register will be moved today onto Zillah's First Avenue.
At its new home on a lot near the city's civic center, the gas station will serve as a visitors center. Eventually, the station will be outfitted with an awning and old gravity-style gas pumps. Landscaping and public benches will create a park area.
