No matter how you voted, or who/what won, yesterday was a historic day. Remember it forever. I don't begin to think this is the end of the war, but once again, the people have spoken.

We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.

Thank you Phillip for a wonderful lesson in institute last night on our responsibilities as citizens to vote and then respond with "quiet dignity" to the results, whatever they may be. ...in addition the the rest of the wonderful lesson. :)

I forgot all about institute last night. Bryce and I were doing the "last 4 hours" calling to make sure people voted. I bet I'm so far behind in class now. Oh well. Sounds like I missed a good lesson.
