No more secrets

I REALLY don't like secrets. Mostly if it's something fun that I know that I'm not supposed to tell. This one I've known for months (well, almost 2 months technically, though it goes back further than that). Whenever we spoke the last time, that's when I first got the impression that I was going into young womens. Then about 1/2 way thru October I got the impression that I was going to Young Women's president.
The Wednesday before Stake Conference Bishop Dehmel finally got on the impression train (weird how that works sometimes) and I was called into his office.
Now, of course this was weeks before the primary program and I warned him that President Cutts might freak out so he should probably wait. And of course I still had to figure out my counselors.
Phillip told me that, as he had never had to choose counselors, he was interested to see how it would happen - how I would go through the process. Unfortunatly he didn't get to see much of it as the Lord had already told me who should go in. I did have a bit of hesidency but only because our ward is so small (I believe all the active have at least one calling if not 2 or 3) and I knew whoever I pulled into YW would somehow end up leaving another organization with a hole.
We pulled through though and after plenty of ward business yesterday I, Delight Lydiate and Nichole McGhie are now the Young Women's Presidency of the Gettysburg Ward.
PRAY FOR US!!! :)

Isn't it nice to be able to talk about it? So you knew for that long hu? Well for me, I've sort of had this feeling for at least a month if not longer that my days in Relief Society were numbered. I didn't tell anyone my feelings though, not even Bryce. I think it's neat when you are at least mentally prepared ahead of time.
