I was asked to share some of my Christmas traditions at our next Relief Society evening and it got me thinking about the many traditions from growing up as well as the new traditions of having my own family. What are your favorite (and least favorite) holiday traditions?

There are many, many Christmas traditions that I love, but here are three of my favorites: 1. One of my uncles has a very deep, soothing voice and when I was a kid we all got together on Christmas eve and listened to him read the Christmas story out of the Bible. 2. Buying a tree right after Thanksgiving and spending an evening as a family decorating it while watching a Christmas movie. 3. Having a big Christmas eve dinner and then just having leftovers on Christmas night - that way all the stress of getting a nice meal together is on Christmas eve and then Christmas day is all about opening gifts, relaxing, and spending quality family time :)
Love the art work!! I look forward to hearing what is a part of your life for Christmas traditions!
We would always open one present on Christmas eve and it was always pajamas to wear that night. I hated it as a kid, but as I look back, I love how predictable it was to know that I would get that one thing every year no matter how much we were struggling.
Our family would also drive around town to look at Christmas lights, not just Christmas Tree lane Christmas lights, but the different lights that everyone would set up.
