Confession

I have been slacking and not contributing here to the blog that my wife started for the two of us about the two of us. So, I will try, in very short summaries, try to highlight a few things from the past month.

• Sem ended in Dec for the Christmas break and we were surprised by a member of the Stake Presidency. I was shocked but also pleased to have had the stake support. Class went well and was a great experience to see all the kids focusing on the reason for the season and their love for each other.
• I got to sleep in until 630 during break. May not mean much to any of you - for me that is huge!
• My wife treated me to the best Christmas yet. Why the best? Because with each passing year, I realize how much more I love her and how deeper I appreciate the Savior's atonement enabling us to be a family for eternity. (And she also bought me some fun Transformer toys - I am a kid at heart.)
• New Year's Eve was fun playing cards with some of our favoritest peoples in the world. Yes, Bryce cheats, but we still like him anyway : )
• New Year's Day = massive sleeping in day
• Got really sick for about two weeks after that. Migraine, sinus infection and bad cold bug going around. Yes, I was a happy camper : (
• Seminary started again and I had to start waking up early again. While I miss the extra sleep, I so enjoy the time in the scriptures and learning from the students in class. We just finished the four gospels and now am very excited about the upcoming journey through the rest of the NT.
• I bough suits. They need altering (anybody?). One is three-piece with a vest - can't wait!
• Deep cleaned beyond deep cleaned house in two and a half days. Felt good to do, but once done I realized that all of the sudden I had nothing to do for the weekend.
• Most important of all, I realized how much I love and treasure my "Lovie." She is a remarkable woman who keeps going and going. She persists and perseveres in helping to ensure that we do things as a family that are best for us and will help lead us to life eternal. I am amazed at her dedication to her new calling and the thought and prayer she puts in on behalf of both the girls and her other leaders. She gives so much of herself I really do wish I could do more for her. (I think she even tucks me in on the couch when I accidently fall asleep out there at night.) I truly am a blessed man to be married to such a wonderul woman. I don't care what anyone else says - she's the best!
